Coming down the home stretch in my second open marathon breaking under my 4 hour goal. (I made it by an enormous margin of 37 seconds crossing the line in 3:59:23.)
My goal for June of 2003 was to break under 4 hours for the marathon and bench press at least 315 pounds. June was kind to me. I carried a "cheat-sheet" to help remember my splits in my right hand.
