Picking up "The Mighty German", Ole Jacobsen, at the airport prior to IM Florida in 2006. This guy was the best training partner a guy could ask for. Ole took me under his wing for my first few years of Ironman before he moved back to Germany. I think he felt sorry for me in the beginning. I eventually had the opportunity to head over to Germany one summer with him where he proceeded to pound me into oblivion. I cried for my mommy...That's what happens when you try to keep up with a sub 10 hour guy.
